” I love your service, but I love your heart more”

WEEK 5º

The word of this past week was Heart. When John P. talked to us about hoe our research should be a connection between our hearts and our minds, it got me excited to research, because Syrians Refugees has been in my heart for a long time. To be able to learn more about them is a pleasure, and all the while will be learning more in depth the practicalities for researching as well.

The practicalities are a challenge, however are becoming a very helpful and resourceful tool to me!

Also, when Adam spoke about how God is more interest in his heart than his service, that really spoke to me too, because it confirms that’s God’s love for us is more connect to who we are and not what we do. What we do should come out of a place of knowing who er are in Him.

I really enjoyed Helen’s instructions on how to research. The visual aids were very helpful and the way she presented it was very clear and made me want to start to research. On Friday, Helen laid out some pictures on the floor and encouraged us to look at the photos to see if any of them would help us with our research paper. The picture displayed on the previous page really resonated in my heart and helped me to better get in touch with the reason why I am researching the Syrians Refugees.
