There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside of you”

3º Week
Jo Ann Flack

This was different week. We went through a process to learn about how to be creative in our writing. Our speaker was Jo Ann. She is a Journalist and she was teaching about the basics tools we cold use to write stories. We spent the week learning and practicing writing story and this process was fun and challenging at the same time, because it both sparked my creativity and challenging me because I realized that I don’t know how to write if I don’t feel connected to te theme or object that is being addressed in the writing.

I think I need to challenge myself more when I feel stuck in my writing, to ask more questions, research more and process with someone until I feel comfortable or connected with the object or theme. I also think I need to understand more of the english grammar structure and expand my vocabulary.

I had no problem writing my story that was based on a true story of two dear friends of mine. It brought back lots of memories and reminded me of all the valuable lessons I learnt from them. It was a joy and pleasure to share their story with others. On the bottom left is a picture of the day we went to São Paulo with my friends to pick up their families who are came from Syria.
